Drea Omer

Beardy’s & Okemasis’ Cree Nation

Drea Omer is not your typical stand up comedian, in that she sees life through a set of poorly working eyes, and interprets the world with a wonderfully autistic perspective.

Coining nicknames along the way like Aunt D, and Bombs Diggity (tbh, while she IS the Bomb, there’s not much actual, free-range “Diggity” left at her age).

Drea’s cutesy, neurodivergent, “professional big kid” persona makes you see why she’s one of the up-and-coming stand up comedians to watch out for! When not chasing her dreams, or the latest uncle, she resides in Saskatchewan with her 5 kids & 3 dogs.

In two short years as a comedian she has performed in Saskatoon, Regina, Toronto, Ottawa, Vancouver, and LA (Hollywood, Palm Springs, and Joshua Tree). She has been in two successful tours: “SKoden, Stoodis, Standup!” & “No Reservations!” and there are more to come!

Watch for her exclusive interview in ROOM Magazine to read up on what inspires her, and her perspective on being an indigenous, neurodivergent, female stand-up comedian. Drea will be the first comedian ever to be featured in ROOM, Canada’s oldest feminist literary magazine!
