Got Land? Comedy is a stand-up comedy variety show, where First Nation, Inuit and Metis entertainers tell jokes and share individual life stories. Got Land? Comedy was created to express solidarity with humour. All genres of comedy are welcome and expressed.
Our goal is to perform across turtle island, aka North America, for all indigenous and non-indigenous persons alike. Indigenous comedy is unique, funny and informative. Eh, but some of us just tell jokes.

Janelle Niles is a Black, Mi’kmaw, two-spirited woman from Sipekne’katik First Nation in Nova Scotia and a stand-up comedian. Despite a tumultuous upbringing, Janelle embraces her biracial experience and queer identity, using stand-up to usher in a new era of inclusive, Canadian comedy.
We are pleased to invite you to a special screening event happening in Toronto at the Hot Docs Ted Rogers Cinema on Wednesday, October 4th. The event includes a screening of our film and a presentation of Got Land? Canada's first all-Indigenous comedy show was created by our hero Janelle Niles. The comedy show will feature comedians Don Kelly, Toronto local Denise McLeod, and Janelle with a brief Q&A to follow.

Got Land? Indigenous Comedy Show is on tour to Mi'kma'ki. Headliner Clifton Cremo is a Mi'kmaw stand-up comedian from Eskasoni First Nation. In just two short years he became a fixture in the Nova Scotia comedy scene through his deft brand of storytelling and wry absurdism.
Nothing is off limits, particularly when it concerns family and his First Nations heritage.
